    A paczki primer


    What is Paczki?
    Generously-filled, deep-fried jelly doughnuts of Polish origin, made from an especially rich, spongy yeast dough and typically covered with powdered sugar. They also can be filled with custard and cream fillings and can be iced, glazed and/or sprinkled with orange zest. 
    How the word is pronounced:
    POONCH-key, which is plural. Paczek, PON-check, is singular.
